Our Story
Chef Michael Haggerty’s passion for hospitality began at just twelve years old, when his father, then a head waiter at the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas, gave him a behind-the-scenes look at the hotel kitchen. The red brick tile floors and gleaming stainless steel left a lasting impression, sparking a lifelong love for the industry. By fourteen, Michael had launched his own lawn service, and at sixteen, he landed his first restaurant job at the Crystal Terrace at the State Fair Music Hall. Not long after, he and his cousins began organizing events in hotel ballrooms, charging entry and managing bar agreements, early signs of the entrepreneurial spirit that would shape his future.

At seventeen, Michael enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a cook, proudly serving for ten years. His time in the military deepened his skills and strengthened his belief in food as a way to bring people together. After his service, he worked with several major hospitality brands before launching his first catering company in 1996. That venture grew into International Cuisine Hospitality, a full-service catering company known for its diverse, globally inspired menus and heartfelt approach to service.

Today, Chef Michael leads a talented team of chefs, servers, and bartenders with over three decades of combined experience. Together, they bring warmth, excellence, and cultural flair to every event. For Chef Michael, hospitality isn’t just a career—it’s a calling, and he’s honored to serve clients with food that connects, comforts, and creates lasting memories.
